How to Download & Analyze Your CAMS/KFintech CAS Statement

Your mutual fund portfolio is likely scattered across apps like Groww, Coin, Kuvera, or directly with AMCs. The Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) is the single source of truth that ties it all together.

In this guide, we'll explain what a CAS is, how to download it for free, and how to use it to audit your wealth.

What is a CAS?

A Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) is a document issued by depositories (NSDL/CDSL) or RTAs (CAMS/KFintech) that lists:

  • Every mutual fund unit you own (across all AMCs).
  • Every stock you hold in your Demat account (if requested).
  • All financial transactions (SIPs, redemptions, dividends).

It is the "master record" of your financial life.

Step 1: Request Your Mailback CAS

You don't need to log in or create an account. You can request a "Mailback CAS" directly from the RTA websites.

Option A: Via CAMS Online (Recommended)

  1. Go to the CAMS CAS Request Page.
  2. Select "Detailed" statement type to see transaction history (crucial for XIRR).
  3. Enter your registered Email and PAN.
  4. Set a Password (you will need this to open the PDF).
  5. Click Submit.

Option B: Via KFintech

  1. Visit the KFintech CAS Page.
  2. Choose "Detailed CAS".
  3. Enter your details and password.

Step 2: Download the PDF

Within 10-15 minutes, you will receive an email from donotreply@camsonline.com or KFintech.

Open the email and download the attachment. The password to open the file is the one you set during the request (or sometimes your PAN number, check the email instructions).

Step 3: Analyze with Arthavi

Reading a raw PDF statement is tedious. It's pages and pages of tables.

Instead, use Arthavi's secure local parser to turn that PDF into a powerful dashboard.

  1. Go to Arthavi Dashboard.
  2. Click "Import CAS".
  3. Select your downloaded PDF file and enter the password.

🔒 Security Note: Arthavi processes this file inside your browser. The file contents are parsed locally on your device, ensuring your financial data remains private.
